De manera oficial, ha quedado definido el calendario para el Torneo Apertura 2022 de la Liga de Expansión, en donde Correcaminos debutará en calidad de visitante ante los Venados el próximo domingo 26 de junio en punto de las 19:05 horas en el Estadio “Carlos Iturralde”.
El primer duelo en casa se estará celebrando el día miércoles seis de julio a las 21:05 horas en el Estadio Marte R. Gómez, como parte de la Jornada 2 del nuevo semestre futbolístico.
Este nuevo torneo, que inicia el próximo 25 de junio, consta de un total de 17 jornadas y su fase regular terminará el 16 de octubre. La fase final se celebrará del 18 de octubre al 12 de noviembre, cuando se conozca al campeón de la Liga de Expansión.
Es importante mencionar que durante la Asamblea se aprobó que para la temporada 2022-2023 se elimine el punto extra en triunfos en calidad de visitante; así, cada victoria fuera de casa volverá a valer tres unidades para todos los clubes.
